Alumni round-up – June 2018

Antonia Grove (Rambert School) presents one-woman show Now You See It at The Place on Saturday 2 June.

Choreographer Roberta Jean (NSCD) presents Brocade at the Lilian Baylis Studio, Sadler’s Wells, from 31 May – 1 June.

Akram Khan (NSCD) makes his final performances as a solo dancer in a new full-length piece, XENOS, at Sadler’s Wells 29 May – 9 June.

Luke Hallgarten (National Centre for Circus Arts) features in NoFitState’s Lexicon, at Cardiff Bay from 26 May – 9 June.

Choreographer and Artistic Director Rosie Kay (LCDS) is touring Modern Warrior around the UK from 27 May – 17 June.

Rosie Kay is also choreographer for Woyzeck at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre from 15 – 23 June.

Birmingham Royal Ballet present Romeo & Juliet at Sadler’s Wells on 12 – 13 June. The company features dancer Max Maslan (Central School of Ballet).

Dancer and choreographer Seke Chimutengwende (LCDS) presents Black Holes at The Place on 21 June.

Connor Williams (BOVTS) features in Break of Noon at the Finborough Theatre, 27 May – 5 June.

Matthew Cavendish (LAMDA) features in The Biograph Girl at the Finborough Theatre, 22 May – 9 June.

Patrick Bailey (LAMDA) and Oliver Le Sueur (BOVTS) feature in Finishing the Picture at the Finborough Theatre, 12 June – 7 July.

Whitney Kehinde and Byron Mondahl (BOVTS) feature in the RSC’s King Lear at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, from 23 May – 9 June.

Erica Whyman (BOVTS) directs Miss Littlewood for the RSC at the Swan Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, from 22 June – 4 August. The cast features Daisy Badger, Solomon Israel (LAMDA) and Emily Johnstone (RADA).

Faye Bradley (BOVTS) is Designer for San Domino at the Tristan Bates Theatre, 5 – 30 June.

Jonathan Livingstone (RADA) and Alan Morrissey (BOVTS) feature in Machinal at the Almeida Theatre, 4 June – 21 July. Arthur Pita (LCDS) is choreographer for the production.

Christopher Schutt (BOVTS) provides sound for Julie at the National Theatre from 31 May. The cast features Thomasin Gulgec, Ashley Morgan-Davies (Rambert), Temitope Ajose-Cutting, Dak Mashava, Petra Söör (LCDS), and Francesca Knight (LAMDA).

Celeste Dodwell (LAMDA), Alistair Toovey and Kevin Trainor (RADA) feature in An Octoroon at the National, 7 June – 18 July.

Harry Egan, Clive Haywood (BOVTS) and Jack Tarlton (LAMDA) feature in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest at the Crucible, Sheffield, 8 – 23 June.

Kirsty Besterman and Arthur Darvill (RADA) feature in Genesis at the Hampstead Theatre, 22 June – 28 July.

Luke Grant and Corey Montague-Sholay (BOVTS) feature in Henry V at Bath Theatre Royal, 21 June – 21 July.
