Principals’ Management Group

The Joint Principals carry out the responsibilities as Chief Executive of the Conservatoire, and are responsible for the organisation, direction and management of the institution and the leadership of the staff. One of the Joint Principals is designated as the Accounting Officer and takes responsibility for the conduct of the business of the Conservatoire.

The Principals’ Management Group holds executive responsibility for the management of the Conservatoire. It is led by the Joint Principals and consists of all the Principals/Directors of the Conservatoire schools supported by senior staff of the Conservatoire. The Group deliberates on policy, receives minutes from the Academic Board and the Conservatoire’s various working groups, considers recommendations from these bodies and determines the Conservatoire’s executive actions. Full meetings of the Principals’ Management Group are held three or four times a term.
