This Masters level programme provides students with advanced level skills and knowledge in drama directing, primarily for theatre but also radio and screen.
The course covers the artistic and creative skills needed to become an effective drama director as well as business skills and an understanding of the industry.
Students will be exposed to a range of different practitioners and methodologies.
They will work creatively with students of other drama disciplines within the school (such as designers, actors, theatre technicians) learning creative and collaborative skills.
It is expected that at the end of the course graduates will be confident drama directors, capable of seeing their vision of a production through to completion.
They will have a good understanding of the industry and be able to generate projects as well as find work with production companies.
