Choreography
Central School of Ballet
1 year / 4 terms, postgraduate
The MA in Choreography is a new programme offered from January 2012. The course is aimed at emerging choreographers and professional dancers with a choreographic portfolio. It provides the intellectual and cultural context to develop choreographic practice through research, studio based work and performance. The focus is on ballet choreography, but there are opportunities to use other dance forms, and work collaboratively with composers, designers and artists from other disciplines. The course runs for three or four terms, and provides scope for students to extend their choreographic profile and professional skills.
The option of a Postgraduate Diploma is available. This diploma route involves taking four of the five modules that comprise the MA.
