Sir Bob Reid has announced his intention to retire as Chair of the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama’s Board of Governors by March 2011.
The Governors have commissioned their Nominations Committee (without Sir Bob, but joined by Sue Storr) to manage the process of seeking Sir Bob’s successor as soon as possible.
Sir Bob was instrumental in establishing the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama over the last decade, and all of us at Conservatoire are most grateful to him.

The Conservatoire for Dance and Drama is offering an exciting opportunity to develop its communications strategy and co-ordinate internal and external communications through print media, the web and other electronic means. The jobholder will also be responsible for the co-ordination and administration of joint projects with the schools as well as conferences and events.

The successful candidate will have a degree and a keen interest and knowledge of dance or drama, a minimum of two years’ marketing/communications experience, be self-motivated and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Circus Space is the national centre for Circus Arts, based in Hoxton, London. They are seeking a Participation and Outreach Manager to cover maternity leave.
Participation and Outreach Manager

£23,000 pro rata - 28 hours per week
Contract starts: end Aug 2010 / Contract Completes: end Dec 2010
The postholder will oversee all aspects of their Participation and Outreach department, including delivery of a range of classes on site for children, young people and adults, and national young people’s collaborative projects. Applicants must have at least 3 years experience within an arts education setting and be able to demonstrate expertise of managing a team.
